Team Overview
As Operations Administrator, you are a vital part of ADF’s Legislative Team. In this role, you will report to the Director of Legislative Operations & Strategic Advisor. You will play an important role with the operational and administrative functions of the team and perform specialized and confidential duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the legislative team, including managing calendars, schedules, travel arrangements, expense reports, and office logistics (e.g., supplies, IT support, and invoices).
- Coordinate meetings and events, including managing speakers and logistics using various applications.
- Assist with bill tracking and legislative activities, including use of legislative software and tools.
- Organize and maintain team records, resources, and materials.
- Support the onboarding process for new team members.
- Conduct research, assist with special projects, and maintain files and documentation as needed.
- Draft and proofread correspondence and documents, ensuring proper grammar and structure.
- Maintain a strong understanding of organizational operations, protocols, and practices to effectively liaise with management, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of administrative assistant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
