Team Overview
As the Member Services Administrator, you play a vital role in the Church and Ministry Alliance Team. In this role, you will report to the Director and be responsible for the customer/member services functions of the Church and Ministry Alliance. This involves executing member communications and responding to all inbound communications via the Church and Ministry Alliance phone, email, and mail. Member services are responsible for all outbound contact for the member renewal contact strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all inbound CMA calls and emails, ensuring accurate routing of high-priority requests such as legal assistance.
- Manage membership renewals, including data integrity checks, renewal communications, and assisting members with questions and payments.
- Oversee the member approval process by reviewing applications, tracking payment status, and coordinating with internal teams and sales for follow-up.
- Process and troubleshoot member payments, coordinate with Finance and Gift Processing teams, and issue receipts and invoices as needed.
- Maintain and update member and donor records in the CRM, ensuring accuracy, resolving duplicates, and building new contact records.
- Create and maintain documentation, templates, and training materials to support member services operations.
- Coordinate new member onboarding and welcome materials, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for CMA events, data management, and the Member Engagement and Operations teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Customer service experience via phone and email
- Experience with data entry and payment processing and financial transaction handling
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-3 years of customer service experience via phone and email
- Experience with CRM systems, such as Glue Up
