SUMMARY:
Work with the VP Finance Business Partnering to analyze and recommend actions for the firm’s organic growth and financial results
This is a full-time, hybrid position. Applicants must be able to work in the Addison/Dallas, TX office.
This is an Exempt position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze new client pipeline results, including key milestone volumes and conversion rates
- Communicate insights on performance and recommend practical changes that will result in performance improvement
- Analyze the financial impact of changes in advisor compensation and/or new compensation programs
- Develop new and enhance existing reporting
- Partner with Procurement team to analyze the financial impact of vendor contracts
- Partner with Facilities team to track and analyze the financial impacts of office remodels and relocations
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, including budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variances, and clearly communicate key drivers to senior leadership
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, resource allocation, and business planning
- Perform ad hoc analyses to answer complex business questions and support executive decision-making
- Develop executive-ready presentations and financial materials that translate complex details into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience within wealth management, financial advisory, asset management, banking, insurance, or another financial-services environment preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial information effectively to non-finance audiences
- High attention to detail while maintaining the ability to see the broader business and strategic implications of financial results
- Ability to analyze large and complex datasets and translate findings into concise, actionable business insights
- Comfortable operating in a growing organization where requirements, processes, and systems will change
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, financial analysis, or analytics role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, financial modeling, scenario analysis, working with large and complex datasets, and AI tools
- Demonstrated ability to develop financial models and translate financial and operational data into meaningful business insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify key performance drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities
- Experience preparing management reporting, financial analyses, and presentations for senior leadership
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- This is a hybrid role, with 3-4 days in-office
- This position requires the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, lift at least 15 pounds, file documents in high or low cabinets, to use the telephone and to use the computer systems.
