The role will define and operationalize Commercial strategy, business requirements, governance, operating model, roadmap, adoption and value measurement for these capabilities, enabling trusted, compliant and customer-centric engagement at scale.

The role will represent Commercial needs, connect interdependent decisions and help ensure approved requirements are translated into scalable processes, prioritized delivery needs and measurable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Commercial vision, capability roadmap and prioritization framework for customer consent, identity and preference management.
  • Define and evolve Commercial standards, taxonomy, business rules, operating model and governance processes in partnership with accountable enterprise functions.
  • Serve as the Commercial business lead for decision rights, review gates, change control and ongoing governance forums.
  • Establish and facilitate cross-functional working teams that keep Commercial, Omnichannel, IT, Data, Privacy, Legal, CRM, MarTech, MDM, CIAM and OneTrust-related decisions synchronized.
  • Maintain visibility to open decisions, risks, dependencies, ownership gaps and tradeoffs affecting Commercial outcomes.
  • Lead definition, prioritization and ongoing refinement of Commercial use cases across HCP, HCO, patient, caregiver and other relevant customer journeys, channels, brands, markets and personas.
  • Translate customer, business, privacy, regulatory and operational needs into clear business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, decision records, capability roadmaps and implementation priorities.
  • Partner with Omnichannel Operations, Customer Engagement Platforms, Content Enablement, Commercial teams and regional stakeholders to enable scalable customer experience delivery.
  • Develop executive-ready recommendations, roadmaps, business cases, operating model materials and leadership updates to support decisions and investment prioritization.
  • Maintain a prioritized view of Commercial capability needs, enhancements and remediation items, and ensure MVP and future-release recommendations balance customer and business value, risk mitigation, operational feasibility and enterprise platform and data readiness.
  • Escalate unresolved decisions, constraints and accountability gaps through the appropriate Commercial and cross-functional governance channels.
  • Partner with IT and Data teams so Commercial requirements are reflected in platform configuration, integration planning, data models and identity strategy without assuming technical implementation ownership.
  • Develop and operationalize playbooks, intake methods, governance artifacts and change materials that enable Commercial teams to use consent and preference capabilities consistently.
  • Drive adoption across Global Omnichannel, brands, regions and Commercial functions through clear communication, training support and stakeholder engagement.
  • Partner with Privacy, Legal, Compliance, IT and Data teams to embed privacy-by-design principles into Commercial customer journeys, requirements and capability decisions, and connect monitoring, audit readiness and remediation processes to accountable owners.
  • Define and track capability KPIs and adoption measures across consent capture, preference utilization, customer experience, process efficiency, operational adoption and compliance readiness.
  • Connect capability investments and roadmap decisions to Commercial outcomes, including trusted customer engagement, launch readiness, operational efficiency, risk reduction and future omnichannel enablement.
  • Use performance insights, stakeholder feedback and customer experience signals to prioritize enhancements and demonstrate business value.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in omnichannel, digital, CRM, product management, marketing operations, customer engagement, privacy operations, consent and preference management, or a related business capability role.
  • Experience defining or governing business capabilities at the intersection of customer experience, technology, data, privacy, legal and compliance.
  • Strong ability to translate complex business, regulatory and operational needs into requirements, roadmaps, governance models, decision records and executive-ready recommendations.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and driving alignment among business, technology, data, privacy, legal and regional stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of consent management, preference management, customer identity, customer data ecosystems, CRM, marketing automation, digital intake and data governance concepts.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, prioritization and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity, clarify ownership and create practical operating models that enable scalable execution.
  • Experience translating customer and business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritized product or capability requirements.
  • Experience defining capability or product metrics and using performance insights to guide prioritization and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to partner effectively with agile product and technology delivery teams while maintaining clear separation between Commercial business accountability and technical delivery ownership.
