Business Systems Analyst

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Business Systems Analyst will support the company’s growing tech stack and integration ecosystem. This role will be a key player in the implementation and ongoing improvements to new and existing software solutions, provide technical support to end users, and support and build system integrations. The ideal candidate has a product mindset, loves working with diverse technologies, and values continuous improvement.This role will report directly to the Director of Technology, will work alongside other members of the technology team, and will partner closely with cross-functional teams on a daily basis.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Administration & configuration of new & existing SaaS platforms
- Work with technology leadership on systems and integration improvements
- Collaborate with the business users to understand requirements and application functionality/capabilities to identify potential efficiency improvements to existing business processes from a technical perspective
- Learn the appropriate applications, data, and processes used and supported by the company
- Document business requirements and diagram business processes
- Support the implementation of automations, features, integrations, and workflows that add value to the customer journey and the organization
- Create, maintain, and deliver high-quality, effective end-user and admin training and documentation
- Approach work initiatives with an operational excellence mindset—showing curiosity, challenging the status quo, and questioning established processes or assumptions
EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- 2+ years of experience in a technical role
- Experience in application analysis, troubleshooting and supporting business applications
- Experience in one or more of the following operational systems: ERP, iPasS platforms, Returns Platforms, EDI, Ecommerce platforms, WMS, POS
- Bonus points for experience with NetSuite, Tray.io, and/or Shopify
- Programming languages such as Javascript, Python, and SQL
- Experience at a retail or ecommerce company a plus
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize inbound requests
- Project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Customer support skills, including the ability to train users and present data
