ROLE OVERVIEW

The Retail Inventory Lead will oversee all aspects of physical inventory management for ALOHA Collection Retail stores, working closely with the Retail Store Manager, to ensure that stock levels are maintained and optimized to support daily store operations. This individual will support the Retail team in managing day to day execution of key operational functions including coordinating shipments, receiving and processing, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Inventory Management: 

  • Oversee the restock process from start to finish to physically receiving shipments at the store, counting inventory, and helping place inventory on the sales floor
  • Support daily maintenance of the store, including restocking and destocking product, counting, re-ticketing, cleaning, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
  • Coordinate regular cadence (daily or weekly) for inventory restock and destock; work with management and sales associates to update/develop processes as needed
  • Support sell-through management by ensuring accuracy of inventory count; relay any shipment discrepancies to the appropriate individuals and teams
  • Collaborates with Store Manager on launches and roll outs
  • Support Retail Store Manager and VM in ensuring all retail store signage, displays, floor sets and deliverables arrive to all retail locations before campaign launches, store exclusives, and new GTM drops
  • Manages destocking seasonal offload merchandise by pulling from the sales floor, tracking and transferring to Waikiki off-site storage, and storing in an organized and accessible manner
  • Assist with the WIS inventory audits by performing pre-counts and organization beforehand, as well as assisting with processes day-of

Stockroom Organization: 

  • Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes
  • Own organization and cleanliness of Retail store backroom and off-site storage, ensuring they are tidy, safe, and easy to navigate 
  • Implement and develop any necessary processes for tracking inventory in backroom and storage spaces

Sales Associate: 

  • Ensure that store operations run smoothly throughout the day while providing
  • a tidy, clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Commits to understanding all aspects of the ALOHA brand as well as extensive
  • product information (uses, silhouettes, prints, pricing, etc.).
  • Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise.
  • Sets up and maintains advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
  • Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise.
  • Obtains merchandise requested by customer or receives merchandise select by customer.
  • Answers customer's questions about the brand, products and usage, location, and price.
  • Attends customer complaints and works to resolve any problems to restore and promote good public relations.
  • Total price and tax on merchandise purchased by customers to determine purchase total.
  • Accepts payment and makes change.
  • Wraps or bags merchandise for customers.
  • Receives, examines, and processes customer returns.
  • Cleans shelves, counters, or tables.
  • Calculates sales discount to determine price.
  • Keeps record of sales, prepares inventory of stock, and orders merchandise.
  • Stays informed about all relevant company information.

EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in retail management or operations management.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to providing an exceptional shopping Experience.
  • Exemplary communication with effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify operational issues, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of retail systems including familiarity with POS systems (Shopify is preferred, but not required) and other retail-related technology.
