OVERVIEW
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Retail Facilities Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the maintenance, repair and support overall facility management of our retail stores. As a Retail Facilities Coordinator, your objective is to ensure a safe, clean, and inviting shopping environment for our clientele and store teams. You will support the management team with repairs, reworks and improvements while working closely with external contractors and vendors. This role will involve travel to various locations to ensure stores comply with company policies and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the general maintenance and repair of retail locations, ensuring all facilities are safe, clean, and presentable
- Manage relationships with repair and maintenance vendor, ensure quality and execution of scope.
- Store Visits to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards and compliance issues.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair work, prioritize issues based on urgency and impact to operations.
- Assist with store profile build out and information collection for platform and archive. Maintain our platform and vendor portals.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Operations, to address facility related concerns affecting staff and customers.
- Create reports on completed tasks and unresolved issues; communicate findings and recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within the retail sector
- Strong communication skills (both email and verbal)
- Experienced in working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills

- Proactive, positive and professional nature
- Ability to perform tasks with discretion and poise and often confidentiality
- Self-motivated
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft word, Excel, Service Channel
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
