Senior Consultant – Job Description

You’ll work in teams of typically 3 – 5 people to identify, and oftentimes implement, potential solutions for a specific client problem or challenge. Together, you will help clients make lasting improvements to their performance and realize their most important goals.

Over the course of each project, you will gather and analyse information, formulate, and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations. You'll also present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.

During your first few years with the firm, you will serve as a business analyst on multiple client engagements and work with several colleagues and clients in a range of functional areas. 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in client workshops and interviews.
  • Support our project team in notes taking, analyzing, and documenting business processes, pain points, requirements and more.
  • Actively contribute to client delivery elements (i.e., current state and future state reports, recommendations, and roadmaps)
  • Prepare project status reports.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team, motivate others, and lead change.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project
  • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis.
  • A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.
  • A strong interest in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent English and German skills in both writing and speaking.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics or Engineering
