About the Team 

Our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice enables clients to achieve operational and financial excellence through advanced planning, forecasting, and profitability solutions. We partner with financial services and private markets clients to design and implement solutions that enhance financial decision-making through technology-driven transformation. 

Role Overview 

As a Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering technology-enabled transformations. You will leverage Anaplan to help clients reimagine their planning, reporting, and analysis processes. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while mentoring junior consultants, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction. 

You’ll lead or support delivery teams, collaborate with client stakeholders, and help build the Anaplan delivery capability within the EPM practice—bringing tailored solutions to the financial services and alternative investments sectors. 

What You'll Do / Keys to Success:

  • A Manager at Alpha FMC is a core member of the team delivering 
    components of client engagements that identify, design, and
    implement technology and creative business solutions.
  • Participate as a critical member of client engagement teams designing
    and implementing Anaplan-based models. This includes but is not
    limited to: 
    • Integrations
    • Documentation
    • Transformation
    • Model Architecture & Development
    • Project Management
    • Business Development / Manage Client Relationships
    • Internal Team Building & Collaboration
  • Understand and translate existing client solutions, spreadsheets, and
    business requirements into development tasks for multi-dimensional
    Anaplan models
  • Utilize industry expertise to assist clients in desired process
    transformation or improvement
  • Collaborate with other Lionpoint team members to deliver leading edge
    industry best practices and solutions while growing your own personal
    skillset
  • Provide mentorship and develop to junior level staff
  • Manager helps identify sales opportunities, assists in relationship
    management and ongoing accounts

Qualifications

  • Strong Excel literacy.
  • Anaplan Certified Model Builders (Level I & II) or above
  • 2+ year(s) of Anaplan model building and implementation experience
  • Familiarity with agile project methodology (Anaplan Way Certified).
  • Passion for business analytics, modeling and planning
  • Results-oriented, motivated, self-starter with an eagerness to learn
    new skillsets
  • Passion for teaching our clients new technology and methods
  • Strong desire to excel and gain exposure to multiple industries while 
    further developing your career
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to identify improvement
    opportunities in a client's operating model to execute more effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and elicit requirements from client
    stakeholders through interviews or working sessions

Preferred/Desired Qualifications 

  • Experience in data analysis, financial analysis constructing analytical
    models based on historical and projected data
  • Experience leading and architecting at least 2 end to end Anaplan
    implementation
  • Anaplan Certified Model Builder Level III & Anaplan Certified Solution
    Architect
  • Anaplan Certified Master Anaplanner
  • 1+ years’ experience in management consulting
  • 5+ years’ experience in an industry role within private markets, real
    estate or broader financial services
  • Integration experience – including experience writing API scripts via
    Anaplan Connect or familiarity with ETL tools (OneCloud, Boomi,
    Mulesoft, etc.)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills
  • Ability to think through complex problems and effectively
    communicate problems and potential solutions to the client and
    colleagues
  • Subject matter expertise in planning and modeling in Private Equity,
    Real Estate, Financial Services or Sales Compensation
  • Demonstrated experience translating existing solutions, spreadsheets,
    and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional
    models
  • Understanding of the other tools, processes and applications used by
    Private Equity, Real Estate, and Financial Services firms and their
    clients

There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the salary range is $130,000 – $170,000 USD for US-based hires and $150,000 – $180,000 CAD for Toronto-based hires, subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.
