Please see below an outline of the responsibilities of the role as well as the requirements.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Implement the group’s M&A strategy
  • Join a best-in-class Corporate Development/M&A team at an early stage in the investment cycle
  • Review, analyse and assess acquisition opportunities, including producing and reviewing financial models and acquisition rationale
  • Form a core part of the deal team for each acquisition, helping to manage all aspects of the process and liaising with key internal stakeholders, including regular interaction with the C-suite and private equity shareholders
  • Ensure pre-acquisition integration planning is thorough and effective
  • Drive the overall M&A deal pipeline, including outreach to and sourcing of new opportunities, JV’s etc.
  • Work closely with the company leadership on other key commercial projects

 

 

 

Role Requirements (Skills, Experience and Qualifications):

  • Between 2-5 years of relevant work experience in M&A
  • Experience working with private equity desired
  • Experience working in a leading investment bank or top-tier consultancy preferred
  • Flexible in a continuously changing, growing environment
  • Senior stakeholder management skills
  • Superb interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and lead
  • Strong academic background including a minimum of a 2:1 degree from a leading institution
  • First-class communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Business language fluency in English
