The Opportunity
As a Senior Consultant, you will take a leading role in driving our change programs. You may be leading a work stream within a larger program or helping to drive projects and produce deliverables for smaller projects alongside a small team of other Alpha Alternatives resources. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing solutions for some of the highest profile projects at leading private equity, credit, and real estate investors globally. Our work is varied, but on typical project you can expect to be capturing and analyzing data, working with our industry experts to propose innovative solutions, and helping drive forward some of the most exciting projects in the industry. Many of our projects give you the opportunity to engage with clients from day one, as part of a small Alpha team supporting them with some of their most complex business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients to lead the translation of business requirements into functional design and technical solutions within Allvue's front office solution
- Lead role in the ongoing development of complex SQL code, product configuration, code management, release schedules, and technical design discussions supporting Allvue’s front office solution
- Collaborate with internal project team members to lead implementation approach and adherence to best practice design choices
- Proactively communicate progress and raise risks/blockers associated with the design and implementation process
- Interface directly with clients on a regular basis to showcase functional demos, ensure functional design fit and obtain alignment with project progression
- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize competing requests, accurately manage workload and communicate across team
- Document current-state processes, identify pain points, areas for improvement and proposed enhancements
- Prepare user guides, process documentation, and change management training
- Support Alpha credit team engagements with requirements analysis, documentation, best practices and market insights
Qualifications and Skills
- Technical/Product
- 4+ years SQL experience
- Advanced knowledge of SQL development with ability to incorporate best practices, design methodologies and scalability relating to development on Allvue's front office platform
- Experience with writing and debugging advanced functions and stored procedures
- Experience leading code design for building complex custom solutions within Allvue's front office platform
- Ability to understand complex database schemas, table relationships, and consolidate data across multiple sources
- 3+ years experience leading implementation, management, and/or configuration of Allvue's front office platform
- Experience leading client-facing calls to facilitate the translation of business requirements into functional requirements
- Foundational understanding of the use cases and functionality relating to Allvue's core front office platform modules including portfolio management, compliance, OMS, security master, credit research, and product integrations
- Experience leading in a developer capacity and participating in management of SDLC, deployments, testing, code versioning and reviews independently and for other teammates
- 4+ years SQL experience
- BA
- Knowledgeable about private markets and/or private credit subject matter
- Ability to think through complex credit processes and effectively document and communicate potential solutions to the client and colleagues
- Ability to understand and elicit requirements from client stakeholders through interviews or working sessions

There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the salary range is $77,000 to $130,000 subject to change based on salary benchmarking. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.
