We are seeking a Cloud Project Manager (Consultant/Sr. Consultant level) to support infrastructure modernization and cloud migration initiatives across enterprise hybrid environments. This role will help lead assessment, planning, and migration-focused engagements involving VMware environments, cloud platform evaluations, and modernization strategy development. 

The ideal candidate brings strong project delivery experience within infrastructure and cloud programs, paired with hands-on understanding of VMware environments and modern cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. This role requires someone who can effectively coordinate technical teams, drive structured discovery and planning efforts, and communicate clearly across infrastructure, architecture, security, and leadership stakeholders. 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead infrastructure and cloud modernization assessment engagements from initiation through delivery  

     

     

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including cloud architects, infrastructure engineers, and client stakeholders  

     

  • Manage timelines, risks, dependencies, action items, and deliverables across assessment and planning activities  

     

  • Facilitate discovery sessions focused on infrastructure, cloud strategy, operational readiness, and migration constraints  

     

  • Support workload inventory, dependency mapping, and migration sequencing activities  

     

  • Drive alignment across technical, operational, security, and leadership teams  

     

  • Track and communicate key findings, risks, and decision points throughout the engagement  

     

  • Support development of executive-ready presentations, status updates, and assessment outputs  

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative discipline; (advanced degree a plus) along with Project management and scrum experience (Candidate should be comfortable running ceremonies, managing a backlog, and flexing between agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies).
  • At least 4 years' experience in technical delivery, technical program management, or consulting on Cloud Modernization projects, with a meaningful portion of that experience working in consulting, systems integration, etc.

     

  • Experience managing VMware-focused infrastructure or datacenter-related programs  

     

  • Strong familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments and cloud migration initiatives  

     

     

  • Understanding of core cloud and infrastructure concepts including networking, compute, storage, virtualization, identity, and operational governance  

     

  • Experience coordinating technical teams across infrastructure, architecture, security, and operations  

  • Working fluency in core Azure and/or AWS services.
  • Credible in client-facing conversations at director and VP level, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk discussions. 
  • Strong written communication - candidates should be able to produce a clean status deck, a tight email, and a clear executive summary.

Compensation

There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to - skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the salary range is $95,500 – $130,000 USD. In addition to this salary, candidates will be eligible for a variable bonus.
