Our APAC team (Singapore, Malaysia, Sydney, Melbourne) is made up of consultants with deep expertise across the AWM industry. Our clients include Asset Owners, Managers and Servicers, Wealth Managers and Insurers. We provide our clients with a range of services covering Target Operating Models, Data Governance and Strategy, Implementations, Migrations, Benchmarking and Provider Selections. What you’ll be doing

  • Gaining immediate hands-on experience and skills by working directly with senior leaders with the world’s largest asset and wealth managers.
  • Collaborating with senior executives in the global asset and wealth management industry to solve complex challenges.
  • Engaging directly with clients, working on global projects and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibilities for career growth.
  • Contributing towards internal projects, gaining exposure to various practices (e.g., operations and outsourcing, investments and wealth management) and helping to build out our sales decks and propositions.
  • Attending client meetings, documenting requirements, preparing client proposal presentations, and engaging in creative problem solving with Alpha colleagues.

 

 

Candidate profile – what we’re looking for

We are seeking the highest calibre of candidates who are bright, hard-working, and eager to make a difference in a sociable and fast paced consultancy.

  • A 3.5/4 higher GPA or equivalent, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • consulting or financial services work or internship experience is a bonus.
  • A passion for driving change in asset and wealth management.
  • Have a genuine interest in consulting and the asset & wealth management industry
  • Be highly ambitious and proactive, with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
  • An interest in assisting with one or more areas of business management

  • Training and development: New Analysts starting will have access to extensive training materials and support from their mentor to ensure you master key tools like Excel and PowerPoint, develop crucial soft skills, and learn core consulting techniques (preparing a cost model, producing deliverables, managing stakeholders). We’re set on helping you fast-track your professional development, which is why we offer funding towards professional certifications such as CFA Investment Foundations and Prince II Agile qualifications.
