Employer Branding and Recruitment

AlphaGrep is a quantitative trading and investment firm founded in 2010. We trade volume on Indian exchanges and have significant market shares on several global exchanges as well. We use a disciplined and systematic quantitative approach to identify factors that consistently generate alpha. These factors are then coupled with our proprietary ultra-low latency trading systems and robust risk management to develop trading strategies across asset classes (equities, commodities, currencies, fixed income) that trade on global exchanges.

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our team in Shanghai. This role will focus on managing both campus and lateral hiring, with a strong emphasis on employer branding and social media strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing top talent for various technology and trading roles, as well as experience in building a strong company brand across multiple platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute campus recruitment strategies to attract top graduates from leading China universities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with campus career services, faculty, and student organizations.
  • Organize and participate in campus recruitment events, including job fairs, presentations, and networking sessions.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for lateral hires across various technology and trading roles.
  • Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, and other professional networks, to identify and engage qualified candidates.
  • Create and manage content for social media platforms to showcase the company culture, values, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to attract talent and increase brand visibility.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Engage with online communities and potential candidates through social media platforms.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on campus and lateral hiring.
  • Proven experience in recruiting for technology and trading roles is highly desirable.  
  • Strong background in employer branding and social media recruitment strategies. 
  • Excellent sourcing and networking skills with the ability to attract top talent.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and executing employer branding strategies.
  • Proficient in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
