Execution Developer

These factors are then coupled with our proprietary ultra-low latency trading systems and robust risk management to develop trading strategies across asset classes (equities, commodities, currencies, fixed income) that trade on global exchanges

Responsibilities:

AlphaGrep Securities is seeking a Execution Developer who will be based in India and help them design in–house trading applications which are robust and extremely fast. 

• Design and development of various execution algorithms
• Projects can vary from writing new execution logic from scratch, to adding features or optimizing and improving execution slippage of existing systems
• Apart from leading the development of C++ execution algorithms, responsibility includes writing & maintaining test cases
• Lead/groom junior developers working on the same project

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subject
• At least 5+ years of experience developing execution algorithms or trading systems
• Expert level knowledge of C++ 17
• Clear understanding of market data and order entry concepts. Familiarity with any specific exchange protocols is not required but may be a plus
• Prior experience leading or mentoring a team of developers
• Great communication skills, both verbal and written
