We are currently seeking a IT Engineer supporting Software and Applications who will be responsible for the strategic oversight, reliability, and compliance of essential business and technical applications. This role will support various teams, including Foreman, Superintendents, Project Managers, HQ, and Field Offices, by proactively managing application configurations, system integrations, and security protocols. The engineer leverages cloud integration and advanced AI tools, staying abreast of technological advancements to enhance operational performance. Collaborating with internal departments and external vendors, managing provisioning workflows, and overseeing software compliance and licensing are critical aspects of this position. This role demands independent decision-making, strategic planning, and a high level of technical expertise.

How you will make an impact...

  • Serve as the lead technical expert for application and software configuration, ensuring system efficiency, reliability, and compliance.
  • Proactively design and implement advanced cloud and AI solutions to optimize application performance and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for advanced technical support issues across onsite, remote, and field offices, resolving complex software, application, and integration issues.
  • Use AI-driven tools and strategies to streamline troubleshooting processes and maximize end-user support effectiveness.
  • Develop and conduct IT orientations for new hires, ensuring efficient onboarding for applications and device setup.
  • Create and deliver targeted training programs to enhance user skills and ensure proficiency in critical applications.
  • Lead application, software, and hardware deployments, including cloud migrations and upgrades, ensuring all project tasks align with quality standards and timelines.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project tasks, leveraging advanced organizational skills to achieve seamless integrations.
  • Manage relationships with software vendors, overseeing licensing, renewals, and compliance with company policies and federal regulations.
  • Establish and maintain documentation standards, supporting consistent onboarding processes and long-term operational stability.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables, conditional formatting, and complex formulas, to generate data-driven insights for reporting and decision-making.
  • Implement data visualization techniques to support workflow automation and improve data interpretation.

What you will have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience and technical expertise.
  • 5-7+ years in enterprise-level IT application and software support, including on-site, remote, and field support.
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise applications, including Box Drive, Microsoft 365 Suite, Jira, Confluence, NetSuite, Asana, and related AI tools.
  • Preferred experience with construction management software such as HCSS Apps, Heavy Jobs, Heavy Bids, HCSS Safety, DocuSign, Adobe Pro, MS Project, and Bluebeam.
  • Expertise in advanced Excel functions for data analysis, reporting, and workflow automation.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing complex projects and fostering team success through strategic planning and task prioritization.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive technical proficiency in software, hardware, and cybersecurity, with an adaptable and resilient approach to dynamic work environments.

This position requires on-site work and is not eligible for remote work.

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience.
