Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience
The Opportunity
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of large machinery essential to Alpha Inc's success. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment, directly impacting productivity and operational stability. The mission is to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of our machinery, thereby enhancing overall project efficiency, safety and optimal performance.

What You Will Do
- Conduct routine maintenance and detailed inspections of heavy machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Perform necessary repairs and replace defective parts to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
What You Bring
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications or technical education in mechanics or engineering fields.
- Valid driver's license required, Type 4 or CDL A preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
