Key Responsibilities:
- Drive to different sites daily to fuel, grease, and maintain equipment.
- Inspect and perform periodic maintenance on equipment, including oil changes and greasing machines.
- Perform minor repairs, such as replacing hoses and filters.
- Maintain fuel/lube truck and ensure all products carried are properly stored and used.
- Comply with all D.O.T. rules and regulations to maintain safe driving standards.
- Keep truck clean and operational at all times.
- Assist mechanics with daily tasks as required.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard.
- Complete daily service reports, work order closures, log sheets, and timesheets in a timely manner.
- Communicate the progress of repairs to the direct supervisor.
- Properly use company vehicles, service trucks, fuel cards, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Flexibility in working hours, including potential overtime.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of CDL driving experience required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of mechanical experience preferred.
Licenses:
- Class A CDL required.
- Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) endorsement preferred.
- Tanker endorsement preferred.
