We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Project Manager to join our team! As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing project costs, schedules, and performance to ensure successful completion within company standards and objectives. You will oversee project activities from bid to closeout, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to timelines.
What you'll do..
- Oversee all aspects of concrete construction projects, from initial bid through to project closeout. Manage profit/loss, scope, budget, and schedule to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Generate, review, and approve estimates, contracts, change orders, and work orders. Ensure accurate documentation and approvals are in place to proceed with projects.
- Create, review, and maintain project schedules. Work closely with the team to adjust timelines and ensure milestones are met.
- Prepare and update financial reports, track project costs, and monitor man hours and project expenditures. Ensure that projects remain within budget and proactively address any cost discrepancies.
- Initiate regular communication with clients, project managers, and field teams. Conduct periodic meetings to inform stakeholders of progress, resolve issues, and discuss solutions.
- Review and ensure that subcontractors comply with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards. Address any issues related to subcontractor performance and facilitate effective solutions.
- Address any project-related issues or conflicts promptly and resolve them in a way that minimizes project disruption and maintains positive client relationships.
- Ensure that all project documentation is maintained, including progress reports, project schedule updates, and financial/budget updates. Ensure all contracts, change orders, and purchase orders are properly drafted and executed.
- Monitor the project to ensure that concrete work meets quality standards and is in compliance with company specifications and industry regulations.
- Familiar with RFI’s, RFP’s, and CO’s that affect original contract work, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
- Proactively seek out opportunities for efficiency improvements, both within the project team and the organization as a whole.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in concrete, construction, and/or project management.
- American Concrete Institute (ACI) Certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and MAC Suites. Experience with Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and Project Management Accounting Software is preferred.
This position requires on-site work and is not eligible for remote work.
Compensation: $125,000 - $145,000 annual salary, based on experience.
