The Opportunity

Alpha Inc. is seeking a fast-moving, people-driven Recruiter to help shape the future of our company—one hire at a time. In this high-ownership role, you’ll lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for key positions across the business, building the talent foundation that powers our mission and momentum.

This isn’t a plug-and-play recruiting gig. Alpha is dynamic by design—we move fast, adapt quickly, and solve real problems on the fly. That means this role calls for someone who thrives in fluid environments and embraces complexity as fuel. If you’re energized by action, connection, and purpose, you’ll feel right at home.

We're looking for someone with an uncommon mindset: curiosity, adaptability, urgency, and follow-through. Not just someone who can find great talent—but someone who understands the impact of hiring the right talent. If you have strong instincts, great judgment, and a passion for process and people, this is your chance to help build what’s next for Alpha.

About Alpha Inc.

At Alpha Inc., we are dedicated to building Hawaii's future through excellence in heavy civil construction, water well drilling, renewable energy, and concrete services. As a locally owned and operated company, we take pride in delivering high-impact projects that serve our communities for generations.

We live by three core values that shape how we work and lead:

  • Alpha Mentality – Demonstrating grit, accountability, and a relentless drive to excel.
  • Strength in Unity – Fostering trust and collaboration to achieve collective success.
  • Lead with Heart – Approaching every endeavor with humility, empathy, and respect.

Join us in shaping what’s next — with purpose, pride, and the Alpha mindset.

What You Will Do

Own Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles—from intake to offer and onboarding.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure alignment with both role expectations and Alpha’s values.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define needs, align on process, and drive timely outcomes.

Build and Activate Talent Pipelines

  • Source candidates using tools like Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, internal referrals, and local networks.
  • Build proactive pipelines for critical or hard-to-fill roles—even before roles open.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador who can pitch Alpha's mission, momentum, and culture to candidates.

Drive Process, Compliance, and Visibility

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of candidate activity in Greenhouse ATS.
  • Ensure all recruitment activity aligns with labor laws, compliance standards, and internal process.
  • Track key hiring metrics and provide weekly updates to stakeholders on pipeline status and outcomes.

Champion the Candidate and Hiring Manager Experience

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with all applicants—regardless of outcome.
  • Support hiring managers with interview coordination, feedback synthesis, and offer packaging.
  • Help refine and improve our recruitment playbook through insights, documentation, and iteration.

What you bring

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in high-volume or fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in Greenhouse or a similar ATS.
  • Strong experience sourcing talent via Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals, and community channels.
  • Exceptional organizational skills—you can juggle multiple open roles without letting things drop.
  • Clear, confident communication skills with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • A mindset that mirrors Alpha’s: proactive, adaptive, mission-driven, and not afraid of the unknown.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience recruiting in Hawaii or remote markets with geographic limitations.
  • Familiarity with DEI recruiting practices and compliance standards.
  • Exposure to skilled trades, construction, energy, or infrastructure-related recruiting.
  • Ability to write compelling job posts and candidate outreach content.
  • Comfort with sourcing tools, Boolean searches, and passive engagement strategies.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

How do you know if you have a disability?
