This Isn’t Just a Job. It’s the Grind That Builds Hawaiʻi.

If you’re looking for easy, keep scrolling.

If you’re built for early mornings, long days, tight crews, and the kind of work you can point at years later and say “I helped build that” — keep reading.

Alpha Inc. is looking for Concrete Laborers who don’t just show up — they show up ready. Ready to move, to learn, to sweat, and to earn their place on a high-performing crew.

This is boots-in-the-mud, hands-on, no-shortcuts work. The kind that demands grit, awareness, and pride in every pour.

Who We Are

Alpha Inc. isn’t just another contractor. We’re a locally grown force across construction, concrete, drilling, energy, and infrastructure — building projects that will outlast all of us.

We operate by three non-negotiables:

  • Lead with Heart – Respect the crew. Protect the team. Show up for each other.
  • Strength in Unity – No lone wolves. We win (or lose) together.
  • Alpha Mentality – Own your work. Push your limits. Get better every day.

If that resonates, you might belong here.

What You’ll Actually Do

You’ll be in the mix — not on the sidelines.

  • Move, load, and stage materials, tools, and equipment across active job sites
  • Support site prep, cleanup, and hazard-free environments
  • Assist with forming, edging, and setting up concrete structures
  • Help pour, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools
  • Apply sealants, waterproofing, and finishing treatments
  • Operate equipment like power vibrators for proper compaction
  • Maintain constant awareness of crew, equipment, and surroundings
  • Support traffic control and signal operators when needed
  • Work side-by-side with experienced crew members and foremen
  • Do what it takes to get the job done right

This role moves fast, demands focus, and requires you to stay sharp — physically and mentally.

What You Bring

This isn’t about having the perfect resume — it’s about how you show up.

  • 1+ year of concrete or construction experience (preferred, not required for the right mindset)
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and handle physically demanding work daily
  • Comfort working on, around, and under equipment
  • Stamina to bend, kneel, stand, and move for extended periods
  • Basic experience with hand tools and jobsite equipment
  • Reliability — your crew needs to know you’ll show up and follow through
  • Commitment to safety — no shortcuts, no excuses

What Separates an Alpha

Anyone can carry materials.

Not everyone:

  • Watches out for their crew without being told
  • Takes pride in clean lines and solid finishes
  • Learns fast and asks smart questions
  • Pushes through when the work gets tough

That’s the difference between a worker… and an Alpha.

Why Alpha Inc.?

Because here, the work matters — and so do you.

You’ll be part of a team building critical infrastructure across Hawaiʻi, with leaders who invest in your growth and crews that have your back.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
