The Role: Where Grit Meets Craft
This isn’t just manual labor — it’s the foundation of everything we build.
As a Concrete Laborer at Alpha Inc., you’re not standing around waiting for instructions. You’re in it — moving materials, supporting pours, setting forms, and helping transform raw ground into finished structures that will stand for decades.
You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with a crew that depends on you to stay sharp, move fast, and operate safely in a high-performance environment.
If you take pride in hard work, respect the process, and want to level up your skills in the field — this is where it starts.
What It Means to Be Alpha
At Alpha Inc., culture isn’t a poster on the wall — it’s how we operate every single day:
- Lead with Heart – You respect the crew, protect the jobsite, and show up for your team.
- Strength in Unity – You communicate, collaborate, and never leave your crew hanging.
- Alpha Mentality – You take ownership, push your limits, and get better every day.
What You’ll Do (For Real)
This is hands-on, no-shortcuts work:
- Move, load, and stage concrete materials, tools, and equipment
- Support site prep and maintain a clean, hazard-free jobsite
- Assist with building forms and shaping joints, edges, and structures
- Help pour, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools
- Apply sealants, waterproofing, and finishing treatments
- Inspect surfaces before pours — no guesswork, no missed details
- Operate tools like vibrators to ensure proper compaction
- Stay aware of your surroundings — crew, equipment, and movement at all times
- Support traffic control and help guide equipment safely
- Step up wherever needed to keep the job moving
About You: Built for the Work
You don’t need to be perfect — but you do need to be reliable, capable, and ready.
- 1+ year of concrete or construction experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean record (preferred)
- Able to lift/carry up to 100 lbs consistently
- Comfortable climbing on, off, and under equipment
- Physically durable — bending, kneeling, standing, and moving all day
- Skilled with basic tools and willing to learn more
- Dependable — you show up, follow through, and adapt
- Safety-focused — you don’t cut corners, ever
