The Opportunity:

Are you a storytelling virtuoso with an eye for comedic timing and viral content? Alpha Lion is looking for an Organic Video Editor to take our social media content to best-in-class levels. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into highly engaging, shareable videos that captivate our audience across social platforms. From motion graphics to dynamic pacing and strategic music selection, you’ll ensure our content hits the sweet spot between entertainment and engagement. If you have a deep understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms, and what makes audiences feel every edit, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do:

• Edit and produce high-quality, organic video content optimized for multiple social media platforms, ensuring alignment with Alpha Lion’s irreverent and engaging brand voice.
• Maintain excellence in post-production by completing at least 5+ high-quality video edits monthly and delivering 3+ alternate versions per primary video, totaling 18 high-quality vertical videos per month.
• Achieve measurable engagement goals, such as consistently producing 3 viral content pieces per quarter (2M+ views per concept) and maintaining an average view duration of 50%+ on all videos.
• Apply advanced editing techniques, including professional transitions, sound design, motion graphics, and color grading, to enhance comedic timing and emotional impact.
• Stay on top of social media trends and platform-specific best practices to increase shareability and reach, contributing to 100M yearly organic impressions across Alpha Lion’s social channels.
• Manage project files, assets, and archives effectively to ensure an organized and efficient workflow.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a fast-paced, social media-driven environment.
• Expert proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools).
• Deep understanding of social media video trends (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.) and how to craft content that maximizes engagement.
• Strong motion graphics skills to enhance storytelling and reinforce Alpha Lion’s brand identity.
• Sound design expertise with the ability to use music and audio effects to amplify mood and engagement.
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-performing, viral, or highly engaging content.
