About the Role:

We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on Director of Global Communications to elevate our brand reputation and thought leadership on a global scale. This leader will shape and execute a world-class communications strategy that drives awareness, credibility, and engagement for our brand across key markets. You will thrive in a fast-moving environment, eager to roll up your sleeves while also thinking strategically about how to tell our story.

This position is ideal for a communications leader with an upstart attitude, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to navigate cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams. The right candidate will balance creativity with analytical rigor, bringing a data-driven mindset to reputation management, media relations, and executive visibility. You will oversee a lean, high-performing team and external agency/agencies while also engaging directly in tactical execution.

This full-time role, reporting to the Vice President of Global Communications is based in the US, with the option for in-person or remote work.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute a global communications strategy that strengthens our brand reputation, thought leadership, and industry positioning.
  • Own and enhance our media relations efforts, building relationships with top-tier journalists and securing high-impact media coverage.
  • Lead corporate storytelling and executive communications, crafting compelling narratives that resonate with key audiences.
  • Manage crisis communications and reputation management, ensuring we proactively protect and strengthen our brand’s credibility.
  • Collaborate across the company (Product, Sales, Marketing, PR, Social, and Customer Success) to ensure a consistent brand voice and message.
  • Oversee corporate messaging frameworks, aligning internal and external narratives to drive market impact.
  • Drive high-profile communications campaigns, including product launches, thought leadership initiatives, and industry events.
  • Analyze and report on communications impact, leveraging data to inform decision-making and refine strategies.
  • Manage a small but high-impact in-house team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and growth.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations, ensuring our brand remains at the forefront of the conversation.

About You:

  • 10+ years of experience in global communications, public relations, or corporate storytelling, ideally in high-growth B2B technology companies.
  • Proven success in driving brand awareness through strategic media engagement, thought leadership, and corporate storytelling.
  • Hands-on experience managing PR agencies and internal teams, with a passion for rolling up your sleeves when needed.
  • Strong executive presence with experience coaching and advising senior leaders on media engagement and public speaking.
  • Deep understanding of the enterprise software and technology landscape, with the ability to translate complex topics into compelling stories.
  • Exceptional writing and messaging skills, with a sharp ability to craft engaging, high-impact content.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure communications effectiveness and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Experience navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.

You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.

Base Compensation Range

$185,000 - $220,000 USD
