About the Role:
This role sits at the intersection of Account Management and Strategic Partnerships, supporting broker partners who both use the AlphaSense platform to produce research and distribute their proprietary research through our network.
You will serve as the day-to-day commercial owner for a defined group of sell-side and independent research firms, driving adoption across analyst teams, strengthening relationships with research leadership, and supporting the value of their research within the AlphaSense ecosystem.
Unlike traditional account management roles, this position balances platform adoption, commercial growth, and the health of a dual-sided partnership.
Who You Are and What You Bring:
You bring a foundation in capital markets and a curiosity for how technology is reshaping research workflows. You are commercially aware, analytically minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
Financial Services Grounding: You have spent time inside or alongside equity research, investment banking, capital markets, or a Financial Services-focused SaaS environment. You understand how research is produced, how analysts consume information, and what differentiates firms competing for attention in a crowded market.
Commercial Instinct with Accountability: You think beyond activity and focus on outcomes. You are comfortable owning renewal conversations, identifying growth opportunities, and balancing relationship building with commercial rigor.
Analytical Mindset: You are comfortable working with data and context. Usage signals, workflow behavior, and market trends help you tell a clearer story about value and risk. You approach problems with structure and curiosity rather than assumptions.
Credible Communicator Across Seniority Levels: You can engage a junior associate in a detailed workflow discussion and then shift seamlessly into a strategic conversation with a Head of Research. You communicate with clarity, confidence, and respect for your audience’s expertise.
Ownership Mentality: You take responsibility for your partnerships. You are proactive, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity as both AlphaSense and the broader AI landscape continue to evolve.
Education and Experience: You typically bring 1 to 3 years of experience in a Financial Services or closely related environment, along with a degree in Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline.
What You’ll Do:
Partnership & Account Ownership
- Manage the commercial lifecycle for assigned broker partners, including strategy, forecasting, and renewals.
- Identify expansion opportunities aligned to research visibility and analyst productivity.
- Act as a strategic advisor as partners adopt AI-powered research workflows.
Execution & Adoption
- You will drive meaningful platform adoption across analyst teams to ensure partners realize measurable value.
- You will lead thoughtful business reviews that translate usage trends into business outcomes, reinforcing AlphaSense’s role as a strategic partner.
- You will monitor engagement signals and relationship dynamics to identify risk early, then execute clear mitigation plans that protect long-term partnership value.
Internal Collaboration
- Represent the voice of sell-side partners across Product, Sales, and Content teams.
- Maintain strong operational rigor through clear CRM hygiene and forecasting discipline.
What Success Looks Like:
- Within your first year, you have built credibility with both analysts and research leadership across your broker partnerships, and AlphaSense is viewed as a core part of the research workflow rather than just another tool.
- You bring structure and predictability to your book of business. Renewal conversations start early, risk is surfaced proactively, and your forecasting reflects a clear understanding of relationship health and usage trends.
- Platform adoption expands across analyst teams through thoughtful engagement grounded in how research professionals actually work. Your business reviews connect AlphaSense usage to tangible outcomes such as workflow efficiency, stronger research distribution, and increased visibility.
- Internally, you are a trusted voice for your partners. Product, Sales, and Content teams rely on your insight to inform decisions that strengthen the long term value of AlphaSense.
