About the Team:
AlphaSense’s Content Operations Strategy and Enablement (COSE) team is responsible for establishing the strategy and infrastructure to drive sustainable and scalable growth for our Expert Calls and Compliance Operations organizations. We work closely with client-facing and cross-functional teams to drive impact across AlphaSense’s Expert Insights organization. Our team is organized into the following pillars:
- Systems Strategy: drives operational excellence through the strategic deployment of technology solutions, advanced analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with Vendor, Data, and Product partners
- Enablement: supports our teams to do their best work through employee training, communications, and knowledge management
- Strategy & Planning: steers the organization towards growth through quarterly / annual planning, account strategy, performance management, and operational strategy initiatives
- Compliance Programs: leverages systems, technology, and data to support compliance teams and processes
- Business Operations & Strategy: identifies and executes top-line growth and bottom-line optimization initiatives
About the Role:
As the Program Manager, COSE - Systems Strategy (Vendor & Automation), you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the operational infrastructure behind the Expert Insights team. Your role will be to identify smarter tools, streamline workflows, and surface insights that enable faster execution and scalable growth.
Sitting at the intersection of strategy, technology, and operations, you'll evaluate emerging solutions (particularly AI-driven tools), optimize how work gets done, and lead initiatives that improve speed, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You’ll drive vendor assessments, automate key processes, and own reporting that equips leadership with clear visibility into performance and opportunities.
This role is highly cross-functional and requires someone who’s curious, technically savvy, and execution-oriented. If you’re energized by digging into processes, connecting dots across teams, and finding practical, elegant ways to improve performance, we’d love to meet you.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years driving operational excellence in Business Operations or related high-impact roles
- Proven builder with hands-on experience implementing workflow automation tools that measurably improve team efficiency
- Highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets with working proficiency in SQL and modern data platforms like Snowflake
- A systems architect who is naturally curious, process-driven, and excited to optimize how work gets done
- Exceptionally accountable, taking complete ownership of projects from conception through execution, with meticulous attention to documentation and stakeholder communication
- Analytically rigorous and action-oriented, translating complex datasets into clear insights and concrete recommendations
- A proactive, transparent communicator who bridges technical and business audiences, making complex technical details accessible to all stakeholders
- A relationship builder who thrives in dynamic environments, forging strong cross-functional partnerships and navigating ambiguity with adaptability and resilience
What You’ll Do:
- Drive vendor innovation as the strategic lead for Expert Research partnerships, owning the complete lifecycle from evaluation and pilot testing through onboarding of AI tools that measurably enhance team productivity
- Architect and deploy workflow automations that eliminate bottlenecks, accelerating operational velocity and establishing repeatable processes that scale across the organization
- Own the full procurement and vendor management lifecycle, partnering strategically with Legal, Compliance, and RevOps to orchestrate renewal cycles, negotiate favorable terms, and optimize contracts that support aggressive growth
- Lead high-impact optimization initiatives that deliver measurable ROI, identifying and executing automation opportunities that reduce costs and unlock operational efficiency at scale
- Transform raw vendor and system data into strategic intelligence, crafting compelling narratives and delivering data-driven recommendations to leadership that directly influence business decisions
- Build bridges across functions (IT, Procurement, Accounting, Engineering, Product), proactively surfacing requirements, aligning stakeholders on priorities, and driving adoption of scalable solutions
Total Cash Compensation Range: $99,000 - $121,000 (Base: $90,000 - $110,000 + 10% Bonus).
