About the Role:
As the Senior People Business Partner in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our People initiatives from the ground up. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of the People function, ensuring adherence to local labor laws, building strong partnerships with leaders in the Singapore office, and providing exceptional support to our employees. Alongside your people partner duties, this role requires you to own the Workplace, Community and Experience (WCE) function of the Singapore office. A portion of your time will be focused on office operations and employee experience, this includes events, community initiatives, and coordinating with stakeholders and vendors alike.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and success of our company in the Singapore market. If you are a driven, innovative, and people-centric HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, we welcome you to apply for the role of Senior People Business Partner and be a key part of our global expansion journey.
Who You Are:
- You have 5+ years of progressive HR partnership experience, ideally within a startup, scale-up, or high-growth international organisation.

- Operationally, you act with the highest levels of trust, discretion, and sound judgment, making confident decisions in complex and sensitive situations.
- You thrive working independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment - prioritizing effectively, acting with urgency, and delivering results.
- You navigate ambiguity with confidence, solving problems under pressure with a solutions-focused mindset.
- It’s preferable if you’ve held ~1+ year workspace coordination or management responsibilities in which you’ve overseen event organisation and budget management, but this is not a must have requirement
- A builder of strong cross-functional partnerships. You work effectively with Facilities, IT, external vendors, and building management
- You have a passion for fostering community. You find yourself energized by championing DEI initiatives and shaping a welcoming workplace environment
- Ability to be present in the office at least 3 days a week
What You’ll Do:
- Build strong partnerships with leaders to develop talent, drive change, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Coach and influence managers on performance management, leadership development, and talent planning to strengthen team capability and engagement.
- Partner with leaders to assess engagement drivers, shape culture, and design targeted actions that improve morale, productivity, and retention.
- Act as a key communication link, strategically escalating and driving resolution of significant Singapore matters with both senior people team leadership and global senior leaders
- Champion Singapore’s cultural and regulatory context within global initiatives, ensuring local relevance compliance and alignment with global people priorities.
- Partner with global COEs to localize and implement people programs in line with business priorities and local regulations (e.g. compensation, benefits, engagement, development)
- Advise leaders on policy interpretation, driving change management to embed people programs effectively.
- Use people data and analytics to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and influence strategic talent, engagement, and organizational decisions.
- Act as subject matter expert, responding to employee inquiries and escalating to the Senior People team or external HR/Legal Counsel as needed.
- Partner with People Operations to ensure accuracy of personnel data in Workday.
- Drive a strong local company culture through the ideation and delivery of office events and initiatives, incorporating feedback to inform future improvements
- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth and positive workplace experience.
- Manage the Singapore WCE budget, this includes team lunches, snacks, events, and office supplies.
- Partner with the wider WCE team to align on initiatives and standardize workplace policies, maintaining close collaboration with the WCE manager for alignment, and escalations.
