About the Role

The Director of AI Security, Analytics, and Automation will lead AlphaSense’s initiatives to secure AI models, automate security operations, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance detection, response, and resilience. This leader will oversee AI/ML security governance, ensure compliance with emerging AI standards, and implement automation frameworks that streamline security processes across the enterprise.

What You’ll Do

• Lead AI and ML security programs, ensuring model integrity, data protection, and compliance with ethical AI principles.
• Develop and enforce security controls for AI pipelines, data governance, and third-party integrations.
• Design and implement automation for detection, response, and compliance operations across cloud environments.
• Help drive and define a program around CRQ and program prioritization.
• Drive analytics initiatives to generate insights from security telemetry operations, and threat intelligence data to drive efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering and AI Research teams to embed security and compliance controls into AI systems.
• Contribute to the development of AI governance frameworks and compliance readiness (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).
• Evaluate and deploy security automation tools (e.g., SOAR, SIEM, data analytics platforms) for improved operational efficiency.
• Represent AlphaSense at industry forums related to AI security and automation best practices.

About You

Required

• 8+ years of experience in security, with 5+ years in leadership roles involving AI/ML, automation, or analytics.
• Strong understanding of machine learning architectures, data pipelines, and associated security challenges.
• Proficiency in building or managing automation and analytics systems.
• Experience with Cyber Risk Quantification
• Experience driving efficiency insights from big data
• Experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data protection strategies.
• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF or ISO/IEC 42001.

Nice to Have

• Experience with generative AI systems and LLM security controls.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSK, or AI-related credentials.
• Contributions to AI security research or standards bodies.
