Customer Success Manager – German speaking (m/f/d)

Germany

At Alpine Eagle, we are building the future of airborne defence. As a fast-growing and international successful deep tech company, we specialise in aerospace engineering, defence systems, and machine learning — developing the world’s first swarm-based, airborne counter-drone system. Modern conflicts have made one thing clear: drones are changing the face of warfare. From critical infrastructure to frontline defence, the threats are escalating — and current solutions are falling behind: Our mission is to change that effectively. By combining cutting-edge AI with aerospace-grade engineering, we’re giving democracies and institutions committed to the rule of law the technological edge they need to protect themselves in the 21st century. Alpine Eagle is more than a defence company — it's a call to action. With an award-winning team, a strong financial foundation, and a bold vision for the future, we’re looking for people who want to help shape the next generation of aerial security systems — and build something that truly matters.

We want to reinforce a culture where great ideas can flourish, and great people collaborate. Help us growing and succeeding!

We are looking for an experienced Customer Success Manager to lead the successful execution and delivery of our groundbreaking counter-drone projects in collaboration with our existing clients and partners. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate among cross-functional teams, manage timelines and resources, and ensure that our cutting-edge solutions reach our customers on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

🎯 How you will make an impact:

  • Manage the onboarding, success planning, and operational delivery of key customer engagements, ensuring alignment with strategic outcomes and mission-critical requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, coordinating across product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration, issue resolution, and continuous value delivery.
  • Proactively monitor account health, identify risks or blockers to success, and drive solutions that strengthen long-term relationships and outcomes.
  • Facilitate clear and structured communication between customers and internal teams, ensuring that expectations, feedback, and deliverables are understood and acted upon.
  • Utilize customer success tools and project tracking systems (e.g., CRM, Jira, Notion) to maintain visibility on key milestones, usage patterns, and customer engagement metrics.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on customer performance, satisfaction, and opportunities for growth or improvement.
  • Ensure all customer engagements meet relevant compliance standards, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.

What you need to be successful:

  • A strong academic background in Engineering, Business, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on experience in high-performance environments.

  • 3+ years of experience in customer-facing roles within aerospace, defence, or complex tech ecosystems — ideally in custommer success, project coordination, or technical account management.

  • A proven ability to manage critical initiatives from onboarding to operational success — including coordination of cross-functional teams, timelines, and customer expectations.

  • Solid understanding of aerospace or defence industry dynamics, including regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and system integration challenges.

  • Comfortable navigating technical complexity: you’re fluent in modern project and account management tools (e.g., Jira, CRM platforms, Notion, or equivalent), and structured in your approach.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — able to earn trust, convey confidence, and align diverse stakeholders around shared goals.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving instincts — you keep your cool under pressure and focus on solutions.

  • Professional proficiency in English is required; German is a plus but not a dealbreaker.

  • Experience with drone or counter-drone technologies, defence systems, or military operations is a significant advantage.

  • Military experience or familiarity with drone and counter-drone technologies is highly beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to our offices in Karlsruhe (Germany) and London (UK), as needed.

At Alpine Eagle, you're not just taking a job — you're joining a mission.
We’re a team of sharp minds and steady hands, building breakthrough technology with real-world impact. If you’re driven by purpose, precision, and the idea of working alongside people who truly care about what they build — we want you with us.

This is your invitation. Don’t hesitate. Apply now and become part of something bigger.
