General Accounting Lead

You Will: 

• Implement tools and systems to transform the Accounting function
• Lead month-end close and tax reporting requirements
• Lead the implementation of P2P and Credit Card solutions
• Contribute to our transition to Netsuite
• Lead Financial Statement Audit and contribute to IPO Readiness workstreams 
• Build a robust system of internal controls 
• Prepare monthly P&L and variance analysis with insightful comments for senior management review
• Own monthly consolidation of domestic and international subsidiary general ledgers in accordance with U.S. GAAP 
• Drive process efficiencies and reduction of close timeline by assessing and streamlining close-related activities

You Have

• CPA with Big 4 and in-house experience preferred
• 3-6+ years experience in accounting with preferably 2 years industry side at a software company 
• IPO exposure and experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Experience in Netsuite
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines
• Strong project management skills and detail orientation
• Strong communication skills

This role is based in New York City and candidates must be within commuting distance from our Brooklyn offices for a hybrid work schedule.
