Technical Product Manager

Brooklyn, New York

Altana is the world’s first Value Chain Management System, a collaborative, public-private network that enables customers to take command of their extended supplier and distribution networks from raw material origins to the sale of finished products. By applying artificial intelligence to the world’s largest body of supply chain data, Altana reveals these previously opaque global networks and powers workflows across them. Customers like Boston Scientific, L.L.Bean, Maersk, US Customs and Border Protection, and the UK Department of Business and Trade use Altana to build secure, resilient, efficient, and sustainable global value chains.

We have built a fundamental understanding of how the world’s economy works, and the implications for global resiliency, sustainability and opportunity are enormous. Backed by leading investors and used by the world’s most important organizations, Altana powers a new era of globalization founded on a shared source of truth on the global supply chain.

This is a lofty mission, and our success depends on building a diverse, global team and fostering an environment in which it can thrive. We operate in accordance with our values: we embrace reality as we work to change it; we focus on value creation, not capture; we foster diversity and embrace difference; and we go on offense. When you join Altana, you’ll be joining a vibrant, collaborative team working together to solve complex problems with the potential for global societal impact.

Leveraging Altana’s cutting-edge data assets and global Value Chain Management System, this role focuses on understanding customer needs and priorities to design and deliver impactful, technically advanced product offerings. This leader will work closely with internal teams and the Altana technology stack to bring products to market that solve complex, real-world challenges.

This role encompasses three main directives:

  1. Customer-centric product line solutioning: You are building not a single standalone product offering but a suite of product offerings to support multiple customers for multiple regulations on top of a unified data and technology platform. You will be empowered to deeply understand the needs landscape as well as the competitive market and scope end-to-end solutions that include build, buy, partner assessments and recommendations. Your job is to deliver end-to-end solutions for our customers leveraging Altana’s core capabilities across data and value chain creation and build net new capabilities in value chain management for global compliance requirements for global enterprises.

Your job will be to deliver tailored intelligence, such as prioritization of risks and opportunities by things like severity and business impact, across compliance and environmental requirements for a range of users working off of a shared source of truth. You’ll design user interactions that drive model learning loops and enable individual company decision making with real-world mission impact across the shared global network.
  3. Collaborative workflows to take action: Because individual value chains are specific to each customer but the global network of value chains is highly overlapping and connected, especially within and across similar and related industries, you will also partner with other product managers and crossfunctional counterparts to establish user network effect through collaborative workflows that enable users to take actions to resolve prioritized risks. These collaborative workflows will be tied directly to the suite of product offerings you are building for compliance with existing regulations. When we say end-to-end solutions this includes the ability for users to work together on a supply chain common operating picture with shared intelligence that enables them to take action on that visibility and intelligence through workflows that help them to manage and govern their global, multi-tier value chain networks.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
