
Project Manager (Automotive)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager with experience in coordinating the full development cycle within the automotive industry. Candidates with backgrounds in aerospace or aeronautics will also be considered. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a good understanding of cost and scheduling, and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments and functions to ensure successful execution of assembly and manufacturing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project activities across the full development cycle
- Plan and coordinate various assembly and build activities
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
- Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Track and manage project costs and resource allocation
- Support build coordination and ensure part availability in collaboration with manufacturing
- Prioritize tasks based on manufacturing input and business needs
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues proactively
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the automotive industry
- Experience with full lifecycle project coordination
- Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, and cost management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results
- Background in Automobile is mandatory (understand the processes)
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and part management
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Salary Range: Maximum of $80k
