We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience with sensor development. In this role, you will integrate requirements on the components, interact with the supplier to manage the work distribution, and manage the less complex components.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, release, and support HMI control components and sensors for heavy-duty trucks.
- Manage the development and sustaining activities for electrical components assigned to you.
- Cross-functional communication and interaction with internal departments outside of the hardware team and suppliers.
- Ensure your project and new product deliveries are met to align with large-scale product delivery time plans.
- Take part in PI planning and breakdown features to stories and tasks and follow-up through sprints.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in automotive or vehicle electrical design, or development of new components.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
- Experience in managing component development with suppliers.
- A take-charge attitude – not afraid to ask questions or navigate a large and complex corporate organization.
- An innovative, tenacious, disciplined mindset that motivates and inspires your colleagues.
- Any of the following skills or experiences are desirable:
- Mechanical or electrical CAD tool experience.
- Developing and supporting detailed requirements documents.
- Experience with CAN or LIN interfaces development or troubleshooting.
- Developing injection-molded parts, project management experience.
