We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer with proficiency in both CATIA V5 and Creo to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and designing comprehensive engineering documentation, including drawings, 3D models, and CAD modules/assemblies. You will play a critical role in maturing products within the CAD system and enhancing existing designs through detailed analysis and modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and modify engineering documentation, including technical drawings, 3D models, and CAD assemblies.
Mature products in the CAD system, ensuring all designs meet quality and readiness standards prior to release.
Redesign existing models, focusing on specific areas to improve functionality and efficiency.
Analyze designs to detect and resolve packaging conflicts within assemblies.
Define methods for using drawings as a basis for verifying geometrical properties of products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with product and procedural requirements.
Produce technical drawings that comprehensively define product specifications.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in CATIA V5 and Creo, with a strong understanding of CAD modeling principles.
Experience in developing and redesigning engineering documentation and components.
Ability to perform detailed analysis and draw actionable conclusions from findings.
Familiarity with assembly creation and conflict resolution in CAD environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance in design.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar CAD engineering role.
Knowledge of best practices in CAD design and engineering documentation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $75,000-80,000
