We are looking for a Process Supervisor that has knowledge of the Tooling and manufacturing processes with 3 years of experience

Tooling and Equipment Standard Engineer

  • The Vehicle Process Engineering General Assembly Tooling and Equipment Standard Engineer will take a Lead role in the standardization of General Assembly activities and develop, establish and maintain equipment standards
  • Establish Tooling and Equipment standards through comparative analysis and decision matrix using SPW knowledge
  • Lead front loading activities for ICE and EV product and product packaging meetings to analyze tooling impact and assist them with design for manufacturing for the major systems above and align with VPE standards.
  • Review and implement lesson learned for each a major piece of tooling and equipment from all plants
  • Measure effectiveness of standards and do compliance of GA tooling and equipment system.
  • Focused Benchmarking
  • Support launches to ensure standard adherence as needed
  • Develop EEM workbooks for each major piece of equipment
    Update weekly status and timing on projects
  • Monitor adherence to Tooling/Process Standards
  • Responsible for maintaining tooling standards and global standards project activities
  • Support CD and Process Design activities if required
  • Create and lead new Kaizens from lessons learned
  • Maintain Tooling and Equipment standard SharePoint library and data management as required

Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience in General Assembly
