
Mechanical Engineer

As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Lead the day-to-day execution of product development activities, focusing on both new design initiatives and modifications to existing components within the Chassis and Electric Vehicle (EV) structure domains.

Translate defined product and procedural standards into effective engineering solutions, utilizing professional judgment and analysis to support decision-making.

Ensure all design outputs meet established targets for quality, cost, delivery timelines, and functional performance.

Proactively address early-stage design stability and robustness to ensure smooth progression through later development phases.

Release and maintain component designs to support issue resolution and maintain alignment with project timelines.

Collaborate with system engineers to contribute to modular design strategies aimed at reducing part variety and improving scalability.

Independently manage design deliveries with minimal guidance, maintaining ownership and accountability for assigned components.
Qualifications:

Proven track record in mechanical or structural design, with strong expertise in Chassis and EV systems.

Demonstrated ability to independently drive design tasks from concept to release in a cross-functional development environment.

Proficient in interpreting engineering requirements and translating them into innovative, cost-effective solutions.

Deep understanding of product lifecycle processes and experience with front-loading techniques for enhanced design stability.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze technical issues and implement effective solutions.

Hands-on experience with PTC Creo or similar CAD tools is highly preferred.

Strong organizational and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering results.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
