As the Verification & Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Design, develop, and review requirement-based test cases and procedures to verify embedded flight software in accordance with DO-178C and DO-331 guidelines.

  • Perform unit testing and assist with debugging software based on verification outcomes.

  • Implement efficient and scalable software verification solutions using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Dspace, C/C++, and Python.

  • Support verification and validation (V&V) activities on test stands within MATLAB, Simulink, and Dspace environments.

  • Complete and maintain review checklists and documentation to support SOI-3 audits for Design Assurance Level A (DAL-A) software.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure traceability, compliance, and quality throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in software verification and validation for aerospace or safety-critical systems.

  • Hands-on experience with DO-178C and DO-331 objectives, especially in model-based development.

  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Dspace, C/C++, and Python.

  • Experience with embedded flight software verification and test automation frameworks.

  • Familiarity with audit preparation and documentation for SOI-3 and DAL-A level reviews.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
