About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in power electronics for electric vehicles and renewable energy systems. You will join the Power Electronics Test & Validation team, playing a key role in evaluating, validating, and advancing high-performance electronic systems that meet demanding industry requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Apply a deep understanding of power electronics topologies and control methods to guide design and testing activities.
- Review and provide input on schematics, PCB layouts, simulations, and calculations for power converter designs.
- Plan and execute verification and validation testing for power electronics systems, ensuring adherence to performance and compliance standards.
- Use lab equipment such as battery simulators, programmable power supplies, electronic loads, and oscilloscopes to troubleshoot and refine designs.
- Perform root-cause analysis of system issues and propose innovative solutions, driving research and development initiatives.
- Document technical findings and present results in a clear, structured manner to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in power electronics development, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong, practical skills in testing and verification of power electronics hardware.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical ideas through high-quality reports and presentations.
- Experience with industry-standard lab equipment for system analysis and validation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with automotive industry requirements and standards.
- Solid foundation in power electronics fundamentals and their practical applications.
Salary Range: $95,000-105,000
