
Quality Resident Engineer

Gather the necessary data (pictures, defect description, quantity, traceability) to analyze and resolve the issue. Communicate issue and proposed solution the plant concerned with the appropriate report. Contribute to the transversalization of solutions to other plants with similar products which similar problems may occur. Ensure that for every quality incident and logistic incident, a fast reaction is anticipated and managed with the plant. Create rework instructions and apply them under supervision. According to the customer requirements or the quality results, set up a quality wall, and manage (organize and train) the quality wall quality inspectors. Manage the resulting action plan and daily reporting with objective of removing the quality wall. Provide competence on Dimensional and Cosmetic appearance assessment and measurement. Representing ALTEN in key customer quality performance meetings. Perform 8D analysis under leadership of PO plant or the customer. Support the project quality leader (PQL) and program manager (PM) in collecting feedback for each project. Ensure all programs, advanced program teams & plant teams are informed of the changing customer quality requirements and updates; and participate in the OEM daily production Audit / issue reviews.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering with six (6) months experience. 40 hr/wk, $92,144/yr.
