Overview:
  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering. 3–6 years of experience in test/validation engineering, preferably within the automotive or related industry.
  • This position focuses on the validation and testing of electrical components and systems.
  • The role involves defining and executing test strategies to ensure product performance, reliability, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • This is a technical engineering role requiring strong analytical skills, experience in test development, and the ability to interpret data to support design decisions.
  • The engineer will play a key role in identifying issues, predicting failures, and recommending design improvements based on test results.
  • Experience in test planning, data analysis, and working with test equipment is essential.
  • The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams. 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Test Strategy & Development
  • Develop and define test plans, procedures, and specifications for electrical components and systems
  • Ensure alignment of testing activities with design requirements, performance targets, and standards
  • Create data settings and define test conditions to simulate real-world usage
  • Determine validation scope and identify additional testing needs when required
  • Test Execution & Setup
  • Prepare and set up test equipment and data acquisition systems
  • Conduct validation and confirmation testing on components and systems
  • Ensure accuracy, reliability, and completeness of test execution
  • Troubleshoot test setups and resolve issues during testing phases
  • Data Analysis & Validation
  • Analyze and interpret test results to evaluate performance and reliability
  • Predict potential failure modes and identify root causes of issues
  • Verify that components meet design acceptance criteria and performance targets
  • Support decision-making through data-driven insights
  • Technical Problem Solving & Improvement
  • Identify design or performance issues and propose corrective actions
  • Recommend design improvements and countermeasures based on test findings
  • Collaborate with design teams to implement solutions and optimize product performance
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with design, quality, and program teams to support product development
  • Communicate test results and technical findings clearly to stakeholders
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to validation strategy discussions

  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare and maintain detailed test reports and technical documentation
  • Summarize test results, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Present findings in formal reports and presentations
  • Ensure traceability and proper documentation of testing activities
Profile:
  • Analytical and detail-oriented test engineer with a strong background in electrical validation and problem-solving
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Strong ownership with the ability to challenge results and propose improvements
  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple testing activities in a dynamic environment
  • Clear communicator capable of presenting technical results to various stakeholders
Must Have:
  • 3–6 years of experience in test/validation engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in developing test plans and executing validation activities
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with test equipment and data acquisition systems
  • Ability to interpret test results and identify performance issues
  • Experience in technical reporting and presenting results
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Good to Have:
  • Experience in automotive or mobility industry
  • Familiarity with electrical systems/components testing
  • Knowledge of regulatory and internal validation standards
  • Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigation
  • Exposure to design improvement processes based on testing
  • Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments
