The primary purpose of this role is to:
- Provide product support to customers via the telephone and/or Internet (e.g., instant message, email)
- Assess nature of product or service issues and resolves support problems.
- Maintain log of product issues and conveys customer feedback to product development staff
- Closely monitor assigned client environment and proactively identify issue via keeping close watch on monitoring dashboard.
- Providing weekly/monthly client reports.
- Identify reoccurring issues and work with respective stakeholders to provide permanent fix.
- Adhere to Internal SLA’s set on handling alerts.

Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Hands-on analytical and troubleshooting Skills
- Hands-on working experience of application support in 24x7 operation.
- Experience in Windows servers infrastructure, Clustering
- Basics of Networking and Azure Monitoring
- Intermediate to Professional level of experience in SQL. E.g., SQL Jobs, SQL queries, Blocking, Always On
- Server Performance metrics - CPU, Memory, Queue length, MSMQ, I/O, Page writes, Perfmon, etc.
- Experience in ITIL workflow set up.
- Working in a 24*7 operational environment with rotational shifts.
- Application/Infrastructure/Database monitoring would be an added advantage
Qualifications:
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/IT or relevant work experience
Experience:
- Typically requires 3-4 years’ experience with a demonstrated competence in functional or technical troubleshooting of the assigned products.
Travel requirements:
- Minimal
Working arrangements:
- Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
- Able and willing to work on ‘shifts’ or to be on an ‘after hours’ rotation
