Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement, deployment, renewal, and revocation of SSL/TLS certificates.
  • Help maintain an accurate inventory of all certificates in use across the organization.
  • Monitor certificate expiry dates and proactively manage renewals.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure certificates are correctly installed and configured.
  • Troubleshoot SSL-related issues (e.g., browser errors, expired certificates, misconfigurations).
  • Implement automation for certificate issuance and renewal .
  • Provide documentation, training, and guidance on SSL best practices to development and operations teams.

 

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in system administration or support engineering.
  • Basic understanding of SSL/TLS and how certificates are used for secure communication.
  • Comfortable using command line and scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Strong experience managing SSL certificates across diverse environments.
  • Familiarity with web servers, load balancers (F5), and DNS.
  • Understanding of SSL/TLS protocols, HTTPS, and PKI fundamentals.
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as Service desk/ServiceNow and PowerBI is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Availability to work in a 24x7 environment (9 Hours shift), including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

 

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of LogicMonitor, Azure, Ticketing tools (Service Now)
  • Understanding healthcare application is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices and frameworks.

  

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/IT.
