Job Summary
In the role of Senior Quality Engineer, you'll play a pivotal part in developing testing solutions for applications spanning Web, Windows, API, and Services platforms, while also designing effective data validation strategies. Your primary objective is to accelerate the product's time to market without sacrificing quality, achieved through the strategic application of automation and innovative practices. This role will involve working with a diverse set of technologies and offers the opportunity to engage and collaborate with various internal teams. You will work tightly with their all stakeholders to understand requirements and project timelines ensuring that the software developed adheres to the functional and nonfunctional requirements of the software solution.

Responsibilities
You are responsible for
- Develop automated test scripts that are robust, performant, and maintainable using Ranorex, or other frameworks.
- Ensure Test readiness in terms of Test Environment setup, Test data handling, Test management/automation tools.
- Promote good Automation coding standards and practices to ensure high quality.
- Work closely with POs, Developers, Architects, UX designers, and DevOps to meet team commitments.
- Work with the Managers to improve software development and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure that applications and APIs developed by the team are reliable and meet users' needs.
- Provide the product owner with information they need to prioritize features (e.g., effort estimates, alternatives, technical risk).
- Manage the timeline and status of the software release.
- Work closely with developers to learn implementation details about product features and perform releases.
- Provide production support of software products as part of development team by investigating and recreating reported defects.
- Give timely, helpful feedback to peers and managers.
- Test Management, Error tracking and management in TFS with progress monitoring.
- Mentoring and sharing knowledge.
- Creating related documentation
- Working together in the frame of our agile development process.
- Provide technical guidance to peers and junior resources.
Qualifications
5-8 years of total experience in Manual and Automation testing
Technical Skills:
- You have a master’s or bachelor's degree in computer science or similar study.
- Experience with stable UI, API and Interface automation scripting using any automation tool. (Preferably Ranorex, Selenium)
- Must have good OOPS and Programming knowledge (C# - Good to have)
- Should have Manual testing working experience.
- Have thorough understanding of Manual and Automation test process.
- Working knowledge for any Defect management tools (Preferably TFS / MTM)
- Involvement in automation test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Understanding business requirements and identification of testing parameters.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation scripting issues of the application.
- Ability to create reusable automation test scripts.
- Knowledge about agile framework.
- Investigate and troubleshoot / deep dive into automation framework issues and able to maintain existing framework.
- Expertise in designing test cases for Web and Desktop Applications.
- Knowledge on Automated executions through CI / CD pipeline.
- Good to have – API testing knowledge.
- High level of analytical thinking and systematic approach.
