ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Managing Director / Executive Vice President to lead our UK /EMEA business unit. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overall success of the business, driving growth, profitability, and client satisfaction. As the Managing Director ( EVP), you will lead the execution of the business unit and partner closely with other business units within Altera Digital Health to ensure our collective success.

The purpose of this role is to own the success of Altera in the UK/ EMEA and foster employee and client success. You will be expected to accomplish significant goals during your tenure, serving both clients and employees with a commitment to long-term success. This is a serving leadership position where you will be instrumental in bringing the team along with you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for the UK / EMEA business unit, ensuring alignment with Altera Digital Health's overall goals.
  • Drive profitable growth across all areas of the business, including sales, marketing, product development, services, and support.
  • Coordinate with peers and be part of a multi-national team with shared product responsibility.
  • Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, curiosity, and employee engagement.
  • Cultivate and expand client relationships with a highly client-centric approach, focusing on long-term success through sustained engagement and a commitment to moving the market forward, while also identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Represent Altera to clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, with a particular focus on being Insanely Great for our clients.
  • Oversee all financial aspects of the business, ensuring efficient resource allocation and achievement of financial targets.
  • Partner with other business units within Altera Digital Health to leverage opportunities and drive collaborative success.

 

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • A strong understanding of the healthcare IT landscape in EMEA, particularly within the UK NHS.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a significant P&L with the ability to manage project backlogs and deliver new project work effectively.
  • A highly conscientious individual with meticulous attention to detail and a strong drive to follow through on commitments.
  • Established relationships within the NHS and its trusts are a strong asset.
  • A client-centric approach with a proven legacy of serving clients, building strong relationships, and moving the market forward.
  • Ability to work autonomously and coordinate effectively across various time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience in a leadership role within the healthcare software industry, with a proven track record of success in driving growth and profitability.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare IT landscape and its challenges, and opportunities associated with data interoperability and care planning.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Passion for healthcare and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. Strong belief in the power of data to drive positive change in healthcare.

TRAVEL 

25-30% - includes international travel.
