A Day in The Life of Our Application Engineer:

Technical Support (90%)

  1. Provide general product support via email, phone or user forums.
  2. Taking ownership and working support cases (post and pre-sales) and ensuring the cases are being worked in the correct priority order and resolved in a timely manner.
  3. Provide support for users in the product onboarding process if needed.
  4. Assist in the development of written materials such as technical notes, knowledge base articles and product training materials.
  5. Support service project and system integration development(consulting, testing and implementing).
  6. Conducting products pre-sales demonstrations if required.
  7. Delivering public and private training classes.


Self Development (build and maintain technical knowledge level) (10%)

  1. Work with early product releases to understand new features and their value.
  2. Remain current on key industry issues and trends e.g. through magazine and web articles, white papers, press releases, conference proceedings, trade shows, seminars, tutorials and other methods.
  3. Concerned about the competitor's products, understand their strengths.

 

What You’ll Need For This Position:

  1. Bachelor's degree and above.
  2. Electronic Engineering qualification preferred or equivalent experience.
  3. Outstanding fresh graduate, or 2+ years experience.
  4. Technical experience is welcomed.
  5. Experience in a customer support/service environment (preferred).
  6. Knowledge of the electronics industry including familiarity with key issues, design processes and Products.
  7. Knowledge of PCB design, FPGA design, system design and/or embedded software development.
  8. Good reading & writing English, fluent spoken English is preferred.
