People & Workplace Operations Specialist
Mexico City
We are seeking a resourceful, proactive, and highly organized People & Workplace Operations Specialist to join our growing team in Mexico City. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our People Operations processes, being a close and trusted partner to employees, and ensuring our workspace reflects the AltScore culture. You will balance a mix of People Operations responsibilities with office management tasks, creating an efficient and inspiring work environment while contributing to a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee transitions, ensuring seamless execution and communication.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries related to HR processes, policies, and tools, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze data related to engagement, performance, and operational metrics to provide actionable insights to the team.
- Identify inefficiencies in People Operations workflows and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and the employee experience.
- Oversee daily office operations in Mexico City, including managing vendors and supplies to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.
- Organize and support in-office events, meetings, and gatherings, ensuring an environment that fosters collaboration and connection.
- Act as the primary contact for office-related inquiries and ensure any issues are resolved promptly.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or office management.
- Based in Mexico City, with the ability to work onsite as required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other productivity tools.
- Experience with vendor management, office budgeting, or workplace coordination is a strong plus.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
- A passion for creating a positive employee experience and improving processes.

- Base Salary: $1,000 - $1,500 USD per month, depending on experience.
- Performance Bonus: Up to 10% of base salary, tied to individual and company performance.
