ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Operation Intern within ALU School of Business, your primary task is to support our programs (MBA and Executive Education courses). Being part of the ALU School of Business will expose you to the program management cycle (from design to implementation) and the possibility of following the event management cycle for the curriculum components organized in person.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support ALUSB Team in the execution for key programs (MBA and Executive Education courses) within ALU School of Business.
- Support ALUSB Team in assisting with student operations in student events and engagement as needed (especially for the MBA Intensives in Rwanda and Mauritius).
- Support ALUSB Team in creating new marketing/communications materials and updating the existing ones.
- Support the Student Affairs Manager in collecting and tracking alumni data and maintaining the Alumni database for ALUSB enrollment.
- Supported the operation and project lead in finalizing payments and procurement processes.
- Provide general support to the manager and team members as needed to contribute to the overall success of the programs offered by ALU School of Business.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be based in Rwanda or Mauritius.
- Proactive, good communicator and self-starter
- Show a growth mindset and know how to learn on the job
- Ability to work in diverse teams and under tight deadlines
- Fluency in English (excellent communication presentation and writing skills)
- Relationship-driven with strong customer service focus
- Knowledge of G-Suite, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides
SKILL DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Interning with the ALUSB team will surely develop, but not limited to, these skills:
- Communicating with multiple stakeholders
- Managing different projects using functional metrics
- Exercising leading self and leading others
Internship Duration: 9 months
Weekly Commitment: 40 hours
Location: Rwanda/ Mauritius
