ABOUT THE TEAM
The Registrar Office at ALUSB plays a key role in ensuring our student data is centralized, accurate, trustworthy and compliant as well as implementing academic processes that allow the institution to function in a routine, and streamlined manner.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In creating a world class education experience, the Academic Vertical plays an integral role in ensuring our academic operations and regulations are smoothly implemented, communicated and adhered to by all internal and external stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff and regulators. The team is made up of various functions, including the Registrar’s Office. You will report to the Registrar and will act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders in the Registrar’s Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Influence the key milestones of the student journey, including matriculation, registration, progression, scheduling & calendaring, moderations & examinations, course evaluations and graduation.
- Building and maintaining relationships between key stakeholders (e.g. Admissions, Technology, Programme Leads) during different stages the student journey.
- Manage the process of grade confirmation and communication on student status changes.
- Support with the review academic policies and processes in adherence of our external regulations and Institutional objectives.
- Support the other functions of the Registrar’s Office in the oversight & execution of their various functions & roles as required
- Manage and ensure accurate data collection of student records.
- Responsible for ensuring that campus-specific requests are completed within an acceptable time frame (less than 48 hour turnaround).
- Make decisions and interpret the information available to support the different arms of ALUSB.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all young persons and vulnerable adults with whom we deal, by adhering to ALU’s comprehensive safeguarding policy, maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to any violations of safeguarding standards.
REQUIREMENTS
You don’t have to be an expert to be a rockstar in your career. Our non-negotiable requirement is: drive. You have to be passionate about bringing out the best version of you as you launch your career.
- Have a Bachelor's degree and 3 years years of experience as an Analyst
- Some experience in operations and project management and experience working with multiple stakeholders is ideal.
- Are able to work on your own with little supervision, but are able to collaborate with others.
- Show a growth mindset and know how to learn on the job.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail and take comprehensive, actionable notes. You will need to have a high degree of comfort with numbers and be able to interpret data to draw insightful and strategic conclusions.
- Have experience working with different stakeholder to deliver on a set objective.
- Are able to multitask, but see tasks through to completion at a consistent quality.
- Have proficiency in using Google Suite including, salesforce , Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Looker etc
