ABOUT AGENTS
Agent roles are entry-level positions designed for individuals with relevant experience who can contribute valuable expertise and complete specific, focused tasks. While not traditional internships, these roles provide an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a structured setting. They are best suited for individuals who are ready to take on responsibilities and deliver results.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a People Experience Agent, you will play a vital role in delivering a consistent, people-first experience across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to internal engagement and beyond. You will support the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture (P&C) team, focusing on creating meaningful, engaging, and inclusive experiences for employees and new hires. You will contribute to initiatives related to onboarding, events, retreats, internal communications, and employer branding, helping to build a culture where people feel connected, valued, and inspired to do their best work.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their HR journey who is tech-savvy, people-oriented, and eager to grow in a dynamic, mission-driven organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Onboarding Experience
- Coordinate and track end-to-end onboarding processes for all new hires.
- Schedule welcome calls and cultural onboarding sessions in collaboration with the People Experience Partner.
- Ensure pre-arrival logistics and communications are completed in a timely and welcoming manner.
- Collect, analyse, and share feedback from new hires (via BambooHR and other platforms) to continually improve the onboarding experience.
- Support the development and delivery of onboarding materials and presentations.
2. Retreats, Events & Engagement Initiatives
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of team events, retreats, wellness initiatives, and staff celebrations.
- Draft communications related to events and engagement activities, ensuring clarity and alignment with our tone and culture.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop themes and content that reflect ALU's mission and values.
- Collect post-event feedback and help identify ways to continuously improve future events.
3. Friday Late Discussions (FLD)
- Assist in the preparation of weekly org-wide meeting (Friday Late Discussions) sessions, including deck creation, guest coordination, and logistical support.
- Collaborate with hosts to design sessions that are informative, fun, and engaging.
- Support innovation and engagement by bringing fresh ideas to elevate the Friday Late Discussions experience.
4. Internal Operations & People Culture Support
- Maintain accurate and organised documentation in People Experience systems and drives.
- Provide general support for people, projects, communications, and ad hoc initiatives.
- Serve as a visible culture ambassador by welcoming new joiners, celebrating team milestones, and helping foster a positive work environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in HR, administration, employee experience, or other people-facing roles.
Skills
- Exceptionally organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable with digital tools and systems; interest in improving processes and workflows.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for tone and clarity.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is a plus
- A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and strong ownership.
