ABOUT THE CRA TEAM
The Center for a Reimagined Africa (CRA) supports African public sector leaders in developing the expertise, experiences and partnerships needed to improve service delivery and outcomes for African citizens. We run various learning programs targeted at public sector officials at varying levels of seniority.
THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Project Management Adjunct Faculty to design and deliver a 6-month Project Management training program for the Digital Ambassador Program in Togo. The faculty member will collaborate with government stakeholders, program facilitators, and coaches to ensure Digital Ambassadors gain practical project management skills to support digital transformation initiatives across government ministries. The faculty member will also ensure Digital Ambassadors are prepared to sit for the CAPM exam.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Curriculum Development & Training Design
- Develop a structured Project Management curriculum aligned with CAPM standards and government-led digital transformation projects.
- Integrate real-world case studies from public sector, civic tech, and digital government initiatives.
- Design interactive and application-based learning (e.g. group exercises, project planning, project charters, risk and communication management).
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Lead monthly virtual training sessions from September 2025 to January 2026.
- Guide Ambassadors in applying project management frameworks to their ministry projects.
- Provide feedback to support CAPM-aligned learning and practical application.
Collaboration with Other Trainers
- Work closely with the Leadership and Product Management Faculty to ensure project management concepts align with leadership development and product management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in civic tech, digital government, or public sector innovation.
- PMP certification, with proven familiarity with CAPM Standards.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, with strong facilitation skills and experience leading virtual training.
- Fluency in English (French proficiency is a plus).
